The Ventus ST RH06 from Hankook is a high performance truck tire built for great street performance during warm weather months. This tire has been engineered specifically for high performance and luxury SUVs and trucks to provide predictable traction and handling in wet and dry conditions. The summer tread compound utilizes Hankook's Footprint Shape technology and Dual Depth Pitch Theory application. Translation -this is a highly engineered tire that will provide stability in a lot of stressful situations and at high speeds. Like all other summer tires, this one is not meant to be driven in near freezing temperatures or in ice/snow.
I don't want to say that I have a runaway favorite in this performance category, but the Ventus ST RH06 is pretty close. Drivers are pretty close to totally impressed with he tire. In addition to the great performance in three seasons, these tires will also last quite awhile. It is not uncommon for a set of these tires to last 70,000 miles. Seems like a too good to be true situation, but as I mentioned above...this tire is highly engineered and I know of numerous people who use these tires on their cars as well. They are somewhat popular with the Dodge Magnum/Charger crowd. These tires are usually available at a decent price, but if you can delay for a special at your local tire shop, it's worth the wait.
