Tire: Parada Spec-X
Category: Street/Sport Truck All-Season
UTQG (treadwear): 420 A A
The Parada Spec-X from Yokohama is an all-season tire built for trucks and SUVs, but also for use on many full size and muscle cars. Yokohama developed this tire for use on a wide variety of vehicles and is often used on the Chrysler 300, Dodge Magnum, and Dodge Charger. This tire will provide consistent traction in all four seasons including light snow. The Parada Spec-X has an aggressive directional tread with linked shoulder blocks, and two continuous center ribs. These design characteristics combined create a better a cornering, acceleration, and braking architecture.
Compared to other tires in this street and sport truck all season segment, this tire is one of the best on the market. Customers uniformly have good feedback regarding the performance of the Parada Spec-X. The highest points of praise I hear about this tire is that it's an exceptional overall tire. It'll give you good wet and dry traction, along with competent snow traction. Having all of those in one tire is the accomplishment. Most drivers tend to get about 60,000 miles out of a set under normal circumstances. Some drivers note that these tires ride a bit more harsh than other truck tires, but I would caution that any tire in this particular performance category will probably be a little bit less comfortable than other on-road truck/SUV tires. Overall this is a very solid tire for the money, and if you are looking for a bit more on-road traction performance from your vehicle, I don't think you can go wrong here.
