I doubt you'll see too many whitewall, low rolling resistance tires on the roads these days...but that is exactly what you'll find with the Michelin Symmetry. These are four-season tires that can be used even in light snow, and they also carry the Green X from Michelin so they'll help your vehicle achieve better fuel economy. These are pretty standard tires when you get right down to it, the tire tread is engineered for comfort, so you won't find these on any cars driving on the Autobahn, but that doesn't mean they are not a solid choice for full sized sedans or minivans.
I'd say overall reviews are pretty mixed on these tires in terms of traction. Most drivers say the ride comfort and longevity are the biggest selling points. I've had customers say that these tires will last 90,000 miles with proper rotations. As I mentioned earlier, they will not give you great traction, but most seem to find the performance acceptable. So if you're looking for that workhorse style of tire, I think this is probably one to keep on your radar. Michelin has started to phase these out, so keep that in mind when you are trying to find a set; no guarantee a shop will have these.
