Tire: Cinturato P7 All Season Plus
Category: Performance Grand Touring All-Season
UTQG (treadwear): 700 A A / 600 A A
The Cinturato P7 All Season Plus from Pirelli is a luxury, or touring tire that has been developed to provide a comfortable ride along with predictable handling and four season traction. These also happen to be an environmentally friendly tire with Pirelli brand as EcoImpact. That doesn't mean that you'll get better fuel economy as other tire manufacturers claim for their eco tires, but Pirelli says that this tire is built using green manufacturing process (low oil/high silica tread compound) that helps create a long life tire with low road noise. Along with those attributes, we've found this tire to have a lower weight and less rolling resistance than other comparable tires. The internal structure of the tire has been optimized to feature twin lightweight reinforced steel belts and a progressively flexible sidewall.
In this grand touring all season tire segment, I believe the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus takes the top spot. It has the best traction, and provides for a long lifespan when compared to others in the performance category. Drivers that run this tire note often how quite, smooth, and composed this tire performs. It really makes a big difference when fitting this tire to your car. Drivers seem to get about 60,000 miles out of a set of these tires, which definitely isn't the highest I've seen. However I would say that you will maintain good traction throughout those miles more so than other tires. On many longer life tires, you'll see traction decrease quite a bit at around the midway point, but these tires seem to provide much more consistent traction throughout their life, which is a big reason why they take the top spot in the grand touring all season category.
