Tire: ContiProContact ContiSeal
Category: Grand Touring All-Season
UTQG (treadwear): 500 AA A
This is an interesting tire, and we are not saying that in a good light. It's one of the few on the market that is a run flat tire in a pretty mediocre wrapper. Continental claims that the ContiProContact ContiSeal is made for sporty coupes and sedans, but I'm going to have to disagree with that. This is not a high traction tire, not even close. This tire is more akin to a quite, smooth ride tire that would be well suited for family sedans or minivans. The only redeeming part of this tire is that the tire can instantly seal a puncture up to 5 mm (almost 1/4") that goes through the tread. So when you remove the nail or screw or whatever, the tire will fill the part where it was punctured.
Unfortunately, this is one of the worst all season tires I've ever reviewed. Drivers do not enjoy this tire in most situations. Also, due to their run flat ability, they will exhibit some low speed harshness due to the stronger tread compound used. You can likely get around 50,000 miles out of a set, with proper rotation, which seems reasonable for their treadwear rating. I think if you are in the market for a good all season tire, unless you absolutely need a run flat tire, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. These will get you from A to B, but under wet or adverse conditions, it's going to be a tough slog.
