Tire: AltiMAX RT

This tire very similar to the General Tire AltiMAX RT43, its from the same family but it has a little less technology than RT43. You'll find that it has a similar size range to the RT43, but it has a lower treadwear rating across the range. Just think of this tire as a cheaper version of the RT43, it's going to wear out quicker and provide less grip. On the plus side its going to be cheaper, and that might be the only redeeming quality versus the RT43. Overall, this tire barely eeks out a spot in my top ten for the performance category.
Some drivers have reported getting over 70,000 miles out of a set. Thats going to be the exception and not the norm. Expect to get many fewer miles out of your set. There is nothing standout with these, but they will get you from A to B without any drama, and they'll do it without breaking the bank.
