This is a workhorse tire across a lot of European cars that are imported to North America, but don't take that to mean that this is some exotic tire. You're much more likely to see this on a Volkswagen versus a Bentley. Over the years, Continental has expanded the sizes available, and now you can buy this tire for so many imports and domestic vehicles, it's getting hard to count. This is an all around tire, so you'll get a blend of performance, low road noise and comfort.
I'd say overall, this is really just a mid-pack tire for the performance category. There is really nothing that this tire has, that sets it apart from other Grand Touring All-Season tires. The main appeal of these really has to deal with their excellent tread wear. There are numerous reports of drivers getting over 80,000 miles out of a set, which is truly incredible for a tire in this price range. Of course they won't give you the best traction in return, but as long as you are ok with that, I can't see a reason to not recommend these tires if you are looking for a long life tire that will get you from A to B.
