Similar to the Bridgestone Potenza S-01, this is a mid-level entry into the ultra high performance summer category. It was designed to be an original equipment tire for a few sport cars on the market. These tires are typically used as replacements, for worn out pairs/sets of tires, just because they work so well with other tires. And just like all other summer tires, they should not be used in snow/ice, or in near freezing temperatures.
These tires overall do a decent job, but it's hard to recommend anybody going out there and buying a set. I think you'll find many other tires in this category have equal or better performance for the money. They'll tend to last you about 40,000 miles under normal use, although if you spend any time at the track, don't expect to see any more than maybe 20,000 out of a set. Yes, under hard track conditions, these tires will get eaten up. So I'd recommend heading over to the other tires in this category to find a better tire for your money.
