Tire: Premier Touring
Category: Standard Touring All-Season
UTQG (treadwear): 640 A B
This tire is not quite the workhorse in the same way as the BFGoodrich Advantage T/A, but it's made to be put through the paces. This is first and foremost a long life tire, designed to give drivers plenty of miles before it needs to be replaced. The Premier Touring isn't meant to be driven hard, and will be much more at home on a vehicle pulling commuter duty. You will find this tire pulling duty on minivans, as well as sports cars because it is very versatile, employing a tread design to maximize all weather performance.
Similar to the Advantage T/A, this tire's long life is likely the main attribute as to why this tire might be an attractive choice. Getting 80,000 miles out of a set is not unheard of, and most drivers report that these tires can last on a vehicle for over 10 years and not show any signs of cracking or rot. For the money, this tire will give you plenty of miles. I would warn about the lack of performance though, this category of Standard Touring All-Season tires just doesn't have the performance scores you would like to see if you spend any time on the track or do any spirited driving.
